White vinegar has a number of laundry uses. One of them is that it helps get out stains, and brightens colors. It also helps remove smells and can be used to remove smells of gasoline. Add a cup of vinegar to the wash cycle and wash normally. Apple cider vinegar can also be used as a substitute.
Baking soda is a good product for cleaning and deodorizing many items at home and can be used in two different ways to try and get rid of the odor of gasoline. Place the clothes in a bag and sprinkle it liberally with baking soda. Leave it for a few days and then wash the clothes.
Coca cola can also help reduce the smell of gasoline on clothing. For clothes like jeans or dark t-shirts, soak the clothes in coca cola for several hours before washing them. It is not recommended for light colored clothes and should be used with the original coke, not the flavored coke or the diet coke.
Since gasoline is oil based, it is also possible that a laundry degreaser or oxidizer could clean your clothes of gasoline.
