Reviews For Dodge Factory Parts

Two brothers, John and Horace Dodge, started the Dodge Brothers Company in 1900 to supply parts and sub-assemblies to Detroit’s burgeoning auto industry.

The items they concentrated on required skill and precision. These were supplied to the Ford and Olds motor companies, both of whom went on to become giants in the automobile world.

In 1914, the brothers started making their own car since John Dodge became 'tired of being carried around in Henry Ford’s vest pocket'. Intended as an upscale competitor to the unassailable Model T, Dodge Brothers released a new four-cylinder Dodge Model 30.

The brothers by then had established a reputation as suppliers of quality parts; a reputation that held them in good stead. Their Model 30 and the cars that followed met with unqualified success. As early as 1916, Dodge had reached the second largest sales of automobiles in the US.

Dodge cars are presently being sold under the DaimlerChrysler banner. Dodge is as well known for its pickups and medium to heavy trucks, SUVs and vans as its cars.

Dodge OEM factory parts are readily available all over the country for all their models. These, no doubt, are manufactured by sub-contractors for Dodge, but meet Dodge’s exacting standards. These standards were set by the two founding brothers as far back as 1900 and the legacy continues.

Parts are also available for Dodge vehicles made by other manufacturers. While they are undoubtedly of a high quality, they still do not bear the sanctity of originality that comes with the Dodge stamp. In the long run they might not perform as well nor last as long as an original Dodge OEM factory part. Reviews of Dodge factory parts prove that you should not compromise.
