2007 Toyota Tundra Review

Introduced in the year 2000, Toyota Tundra is one of the best selling full-size pickup cars manufactured by Toyota Group. Rated as the Truck of the Year 2000 by the Motor Trend Magazine, Toyota Tundra is a half-ton truck widely acclaimed for its toughness and durability.

The 2007 Toyota Tundra is the second-generation pick up car in this series. This version is an improved and larger version of the first-generation Toyota Tundra and is available in 31 different configurations based on the engine types, cab configurations, bed lengths, transmissions and wheel bases.

The 2007 Toyota Tundra is available with 3 engine types: a 5.7L, 381 hp V8 engine; 4.7L, 271 hp V8 engine and a 4.0L, 236 hp V6 engine. The car is available with a 5-speed automatic transmission and a 6-speed automatic transmission. There are 3 different cab configurations available in 2007 Toyota Tundra including a regular cab, a Double Cab, new Crew Max. The 2007 Toyota Tundra is a revelation excelling in all the areas including performance, style, fuel efficiency, flexibility and safety. As claimed by the manufacturers, Toyota Tundra can achieve a speed from 0-60mph within 6.2 seconds. Adding punch to this is its remarkable fuel economy. Toyota Tundra’s 5.7L engine is equipped with a VVT-I system, which is rated to deliver an estimated 20mpg on the highway.

Other interesting features inside this vehicle include exquisite interiors packed with dual zone air conditioners, a four-speaker CD stereo, MP3 player input jack, an extra pair of stereo speakers, cruise control, keyless entry and rear heater ducts, extra large door handles, adjustable headrests and power retractable exterior mirrors with auto-dimming feature. Also included in this are sliding and reclining crew-cab backseats, 40/20/40-split cloth bench, leather upholstery, an optional navigation system, Down Hill Assist Control (DAC), Hill side Assist Control (SAC), blue tooth, extra large disc brakes, front-seat side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags and a manual cut-off switch for passenger-side front airbag.

However, there is one significant hitch in the 2007 Toyota Tundra. It does not have a diesel variant and it is difficult to maneuver the machine around sharp turns and in tight places.
